Get your copy of Survival Mom ebook for $3.99!

I just got a notice from my publisher that my book, Survival Mom: How to Prepare Your Family for Everyday Disasters and Worst Case Scenarios, is priced at just $3.99 (ebook) through December 21, aka Doomsday!

If you have a smartphone, you can download apps, including the Kindle app, and read directly from your phone. If you don’t have an ebook reader (Kindle and Nook are the two best-known brands), you can read the book directly on your computer via Kindle and here for the Nook. Kobo ebook readers can also get a copy!

Personally, I love the hard copy of my book because of all the checklists and worksheets (see examples here and here), but for $3.99, you really can’t go wrong AND it’s a great way to check out the book before buying a hard copy.

By the way, as an FYI, the book covers water storage and purification, dozens of tips for surviving and doing just fine when the power goes out, 2 chapters on food storage (with recipes!), lists for emergency kits, including kits for pets and special needs family members, stories from real-life Survival Moms, and tons more. As my editor recently said, “I still can’t believe we got all that information packed in that one book!”

  1. Hi, I just tried to purchase for Kobo, and it was still listed at regular price…. help?

  2. I can’t buy it from Spain with the discount, I got excited when I saw your post and now I’m upset with Amazon and their policies. So sad :(

    • Drats! Does Barnes & Noble have the same policy? You could download their Nook app for your computer, maybe?

  3. When I clicked on purchase HERE link, it gave me an error..

    • Just fixed the links. Thanks for letting me know!!

  4. Love, love your book. JUst received a hard copy yesterday and couldn’t put it down. Funny and smart!

  5. Hi, there

I have tried all your links and the ebook is only discounted in the states. Got all the way through the registration with Barnes and Noble and clicked buy now and it said, “no, sorry!” Disappointing. Was looking forward to reading your book. I suppose I will have to ask Santa.

    • Darn it!!! Sorry about that!

      • C’est la vie. It gives me something to ask hubby for, for under the tree and I do like to have hard copies of these sorts of books anyway. It is worth it at full price any way. I’ve looked at it in the store a couple of times.

  6. Just bought it. Now it’s $3.79 at Amazon, so an even bigger bargain!

  7. I already have it in hard copy and ebook, but what a great deal! It’s my favorite prep book, so much info is right! Thanks!!

  8. I bought the hard cover several months ago and love it! I am going to take advantage of this deal to get a copy for my Kindle so I can easily read the book when I am on the road.

  9. My hard copy is very post-it’ed and read. Got the kindle version ’cause it’s such a great price. Thanks.
