Wilderness Survival For Kids

“Wilderness Survival for Kids” is a class your kids or grandkids will never forget!  This fun two-hour adventure into the world of survival skills will teach kids ages 8 through 12* why these skills are important and basic safety rules.

Some of the highlights of the class are:

• a Survival Kit ($14 value) to take home
• an in-store field trip at the Cabela’s location to identify and learn about Arizona wildlife
• 10 safety rules, with a reminder card to keep in the Survival Kit
• four ways to signal for help
• do’s and don’ts for dressing for the wilderness
• a Survival Expert certificate at the completion of the class

Bring-a-Buddy, or a sibling, and get $3 off your own registration!  Be sure to include your buddy’s name on the registration form.

Optional class t-shirts may be ordered ahead of time for $8 or purchased on-site or my online store for $15, shipping included.  Adult sizes are also available for $12 with class registration and $18 if ordered on my site.

*Class size is limited to 12 participants.  Children under age 8 may attend if accompanied by a parent at all times and on a space available basis.
