Camping Survival is one of our newer sponsors and they’ve asked me to co-host a Twitter party tomorrow night!

Prizes worth over $200 will be given away during this super-fast-paced hour.

What is a Twitter party? It’s a gathering on Twitter of people who are interested in the same topic, in this case camping and survival. The host will send out discussion questions, and it’s always fun to see what other people have to say.

You’re sure to pick up some great tips and meet other Survival Moms and prepper/survival enthusiasts. Twitter party conversations are always fun and fast moving.

The host will pose a variety of interesting questions for everyone to answer. It’s always interesting to see what other people have to say, and I’ve picked up some really good ideas this way.

During the 1-hour party, the host will announce the winners of the various prizes. If you win, you’ll get tons of Tweets saying, “Congratulations!”

DATE OF PARTY: Wednesday, March 13.

TIME: 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT, 6 p.m. MT, 5 p.m. PT), but log in to Twitter a couple of minutes early.

Here’s what you need to do before the party.

1. Set up a Twitter account if you do not have one. These do not have to be under your real name.
2. Do a search for these 3 accounts and “Follow” all of them: @TheSurvivalMom, @campingsurvival, and @iamthatlady (the party coordinator).
3. Register for the party here. You MUST register in order to be eligible for prizes!!

On Wednesday, log in to your Twitter account and say hi to everyone joining the party by using the hashtag #campingsurvival.

Be SURE to add the hashtag every time you answer a question posted by the party host or comment on something that someone has said. If you don’t use the hashtag, no one in the party will see your answer.

TIP: Copy the hashtag (Ctrl +c) and paste it (Ctrl +v) at the end of every Tweet you send.
