The past 3 or 4 weeks have been so trying here at the blog. In mid-September, I noticed that the blog was loading sooooo slowly, and many of you emailed me and told me exactly how slowly!  (Thanks!) We switched from GoDaddy to another server and host and I expected all problems to be solved, but no. Just a few days with the new server and I began to hear from you that the blog would either not load at all or you couldn’t click on any of the articles.

My very capable IT guy, Greg, went to work and spent numerous hours figuring out why the new server was blocking IP addresses, arbitrarily, it seemed.

With help from the new host, Wired Tree, we’re hoping the problems have been solved permanently! Since, “computer stuff,” is hardly my strong suite, I’ve had to just trust their expertise.

I wanted to thank you for being patient, for testing the load time for me when I asked on Facebook, and just for being so nice to me! In this day and age of expecting results in less than 5 or 10 seconds, you stuck with me and the blog, even when it was taking 40+ seconds to load, or not at all!

I also want to thank Greg, Mike, and Rob, who all pitched in with their suggestions for solutions. Some of you even tracked down plugins and other measures you thought might help solve the problem and wrote lengthy emails explaining what I should do. Thank you!
