PDFHave you ever noticed how much people love lists? We all love to read lists, make lists, study lists, compare lists…we just love lists! During the next ten days, until Tuesday,September 11, I want you to submit a list of your own, with the chance of winning a great prize.
You might want to check out my List of Lists for ideas.
The entries will be judged, and the winners announced on Monday, September 17. There are four great prizes!
The first place winner will receive…drumroll please…a Global Sun Oven! The best-selling solar oven in America is the one I use and love.
The second place winner will receive an Augason Foods 4-gallon Emergency Food Supply! This bucket includes 203 servings of food, self-filtering water bottle, and a firestarter! That’s not all! Email your finished list to me at admin@thesurvivalmom.com. Be sure to write, “List Contest”, as the email subject.
Here’s a list of the contest rules.
- Submit an original list of anything related to survival and/or preparedness. Creativity and humor are fine, as is stark, foreboding pessimism. Whatever. If you’re not sure of what to write, browse through my blog for inspiration.
- You can submit as many entries as you wish.
- Your entry must not have been posted online elsewhere.
- Include the name you wish to use as the byline. It can be just a first name, first and last names, or a pseudonym.
- EMAIL them to admin@thesurvivalmom.com, either as a Word attachment or within the body of your email. Lists submitted as comments will not be included in the contest.
- Submission deadline is midnight (CT) on Tuesday, September 10.
- Winning lists will be posted throughout the day on Monday, September 17, and the winners will be notified by email.
- All qualifying lists will be posted here on the blog and on the, “List of Lists”, with your name and a link to your website, if you include one.
- Prizes will be shipped directly to the winners by the prize’s sponsor.

Awesome looking prizes! Could you clarify on the deadline? The 10th is on Monday, not Tuesday. My husband’s bday is Tuesday, the 11th – otherwise would not have noticed that! 9/11 – we never forget his birthday!
