This Tool Just Might Replace Your Survival Knife!

Until I became deeply involved in the world of preparedness and survival, I had no idea how much in love some preppers and survivalists are with their knives! I’ll bet this headline of mine has already started some of them arguing with me, and they haven’t even read this post!

Thanks to reader Steve C., I have learned about a handy tool, the S-CUT, that is so handy at cutting through clothing, belts, safety harnesses and the like it’s being used by emergency workers in placed of scissors and knives. Although it will never replace the survival knife (whew!), it deserves a close look for something that might come in handy in Bug Out Bags or medical kits.  Its’ circular blade could easily cut through canvas, tent material, zippers and duct tape.  For the gadget-loving prepper, here’s a new toy!
