A Survival Kit on Wheels
You know what really stinks about emergencies? You rarely get an advance notice they’re coming. At least with a hurricane you can plan a bit ahead, but everything else is like, “Surprise!” Because emergencies are unexpected and they come in all shapes and sizes, it’s a good plan to have some basic equipment and supplies all together in a handy location. The problem is that many of us, ahem!, tend to procrastinate putting all those essentials together in a survival kit.
This is where the Roll and Go Survival Kit on Wheels by Survival-Goods comes in handy, and it was my pleasure to preview one of these kits recently. Any astute judge of retail goods will be impressed by the quality and versatility of the backpack/rolling case. There are times when you need to carry everything on your back and other times when you would just kill for a set of wheels. You’ll love this survival kit because it offers both options along with a side handle for toting it suitcase style.
The Roll and Go is very well planned, but most impressive is its’ attention to detail. The basics are covered: nylon rope, solar blankets, waterproof matches, and emergency candles, but this kit throws in a few nice surprises, such as two dehydrated meals, a spoon/fork utensil, a full size tarp, and an awesome hygiene kit. Included in the hygiene kit is shaving cream and a razor, nail clippers, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, a nail file, deodorant and more. It’s the attention to details that sets this kit apart.
A survival kit in hand is worth a dozen or more in the planning stages, and Survival-Goods has lowered the price of the 2-person Roll and Go to an irresistable $89.95. If a survival kit has been on your To Do list for a while, or you’re in need of an additional kit for a second or third vehicle, this kit is an excellent combination of essential supplies in a sturdy rolling backpack at a great price.

I just read an msnbc story where a guy was trapped in his SUV for three days in the snow storms up north. He survived on Mountain Dew and melted snow before they could rescue him. I said to myself….."tsk tsk, he should have had a 72-hour vehicle kit."
