and the winner is…

First, let me assure you that we took this prize drawing very seriously.  Price Waterhouse could not have done a better job with either security or accuracy.  Each name was written on identical pieces of yellow steno-pad paper.  There were ninety-four entries.  The slips of paper were placed in a four-quart bowl, and mixed by (sanitized) hands ten times.  Finally, the winning name was drawn from the bowl by a blind-folded ten year-old.  The winner’s name was checked and double-checked by a panel of two eight year-old boys.  Every effort was made to insure the accuracy of this prize drawing.

I don’t know where SgtJoe is from, but I hope to learn a bit more about him later today when he responds to my, “You won!” email!

I wish I had a prize for every single one of you.  Your comments mean the world to me, and I’m still amazed when someone tells me that something I wrote was helpful to them.

Coming in early December, I have another contest that you will LOVE!  This time it will feature a prize package of products from The Pampered Chef!  This international company is known and loved for their high quality kitchen tools, beautiful pieces for serving and entertaining, and delicious recipes.  Watch for the official contest announcement the first week of December.
