Stay Healthy! Wash those hands!

When the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States feels obliged to personally demonstrate the right way to cover a sneeze, you know the powers that be are concerned about flu season.  Two simple ways to avoid getting sick are sneezing into your elbow instead of your hands and washing your hands frequently.  This video just might convince your kids of the importance of washing their hands.

  1. I liked it. The part where it showed "toothbrushing that cat", then that got my attention!

  2. As a teacher most people think I am susceptible to the germs kids bring to school. But I have developed a system that if I go to a student's desk to help them, I walk directly to my desk and sanitize my hands. I know I'm not infallible to getting sick but I think this makes a huge difference in keeping me healthy!!

    • That's a great idea. Not only are you protecting yourself from germs, but you're not bringing home any of those nasty things to your family either.
