Rural or Citified, Here’s a Great Resource

I am unashamedly a suburbanite mom and was born and bred in the big city, but one of my favorite sites online is Backwoods Home Magazine.  Yes, you heard me right.  Backwoods. 

When I’ve needed information about composting, using a solar oven, or learning about firearms best suited for women, I know I can find that information at the Backwoods website.  A lot of the articles I read just for fun, and one in particular, Never underestimate a woman, has very nearly inspired me to go out and build my own log home.
