Before I forget, let me share with you a fantastic audiobook, The Misadventures of Maude March by Audrey Couloumbis.  We were enthralled with this humorous, lively yarn about two orphaned girls traveling the Wild West in search of a long lost uncle.  It was my husband, of all people, who kept popping in the CD  every time there was a lull in the conversation.  After a time, we began talking just like the narrator of the story.

We were able to check this out at our library, and I don’t believe there is any way to make your own audiobook as I describe here, but this book provides hours and hours of great entertainment, and for that reason, it’s worth the money.  It’s at the top of my Recommended Reading list, and the beauty of the CD version is that everyone in family can enjoy it.
