I found a brilliant piece over on Kellene Bishop’s blog, Preparedness Pro, and wanted to share it with you.

She lists 58 items essential to emergency preparedness.  It’s a good, comprehensive list and contains a few items I hadn’t thought of. 

When you’ve finished reading Kellene’s post, you can compare it with “100 Items That Disappear First in a Disaster.”  Fascinating lists, both, that will give you lots to think about.  It’s a bit overwhelming, so watch for an upcoming post on my blog, “Family Preparedness Plan”, that will break down the whole preparedness thing into smaller steps.
