INSTANT SURVIVAL TIP: Gymboree Blankets! Who Knew??
Many years ago I bought two Gymboree baby blankets for each of my children. We keep them rolled up and stored beneath the back seat of the Tahoe. My kids are now much older, but these blankets are still indispensable!
They are super soft 100% cotton, about 30″x40″, reversible, very soft, and machine washable. Since they’re reversible, you only need to wash them when both sides are stained!
We’ve used them as changing pads, sunscreens on the car windows, picnic/beach blankets and much more. They make great privacy screens when kids are changing clothes or using the portable potty chair, and we’ve used ours more than once to mop up spills. Wet one corner down, it’s a washcloth! Use the rest of the blanket as a towel! For adults they’re great lap blankets, not too heavy, not too light.
They run about $20 on the Gymboree website, and you can find retired patterns on eBay as well. There are hundreds of designs to choose from, so have fun shopping!

Blanket Throws
Thats a resourceful use for those gymboree blankets, never thought of them in that way before! I'm off to use/abuse mine.

Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Handbag is awesome. So quite a few wallets – and also not really those small, useless pockets, either. All of the storage compartments are a fantastic dimension and really support keep every thing organized. The handles are a wonderful length and fit nicely more than the actual shoulder; the handle shoulder straps also stay put on my arm, which is crucial when you’re having a baby. The tote seems wonderful, as well. Not too fancy, but not as well casual. (I’ve it in black) The material is soft (can’t think of a superior word) so it’s uncomplicated to squeeze in to tight spaces – but yet it’s sturdy. I have a Fleurville Lexi carry and I love it, too, but this tote is actually kind of rigid. I think that Skip*Hop may become my everyday bag. It is a little bit significant – so if you’re not really in to huge hand bags this might be greater as an over-night diaper tote.
